Scuba Tank Roll Control

Scuba Tank Roll Control

These are used to keep your tanks from rolling around while transporting them. Very basic to print. Use a type of filament that can withstand being outside and in the sun. PETG has been my choice. I use 5 Shells to make it strong. The scuba tanks are heavy. Print works well with the 'side' on the bed. You can use Paracord or other string/rope to put them together. You can also use 1/2 inch schedule 40 PVC pipe for a more rigid fit. The diameter was matched to a 100lb Steel USA type scuba diving tank. I am sure it is close enough for most tanks. I have included the Fusion 360 File so you can change the design as you see fit. I used Type III Parachute Cord - 550 Cord 7 Strand found on Amazon to link some together. Bit of a tight fit in the holes. But that makes the knots catch easy.
