Scuba Regulator Necklace Slip Clasp

I struggled to master tying a double fisherman's knot on my Regulator Necklace's bungee shock cord so I created these slip clasps instead, using a standard knot. Manufactured with TPE 90A, 0.3mm nozzle, 0.2mm layer height at 30mm/s, 245 Deg C on the hotend, and 60 Deg C on the bed for solid infill. I print TPE onto Poly-carbonate that has been sanded down to a smooth finish with 220 grit sandpaper; I find it sticks really well. The slip clasps are designed specifically for a 3/16" bungee shock cord. I trimmed about 85cm, then touched both ends with a mini torch to prevent fraying before looping them around and tying a regular knot, finally pulling tight until the knot settled into place within the clasp.
