Scuba diving regulator DIN cap
thingiverse
Scuba diving regulator dust cap made from emotion flex 1.75mm filament. It's a successful first print using this flexible filament, yielding very satisfying results. My settings were: Print speed of 15mm/s; Layer thickness at 0.3mm; print temperature set to 250°; and bed temperature at 90°. For better results, I recommend using a small brim around the cap. On August 27, 2018, I added bubbles and words to the cap. My updated settings were: Print speed of 15mm/s; Layer thickness reduced to 0.1mm; print temperature set to 250°; bed temperature at 90°; and a 1cm brim was used. A total of 14 grams of flexible filament was used for infill, taking approximately eight hours to print in black at this slower layer speed. The final result is very good.
