SCTouch DIY BLTouch Z Probe
thingiverse
SCTouch(TM) 1. No force required to use SCTouch, it's designed for effortless probing. 2. The rod flex is eliminated, ensuring a smooth and consistent performance in the middle of the probe. 3. I have optimized SCTouch to be as cost-effective as possible, without compromising its functionality. 4. To prepare the 3mm Allen/hex key "probe", you will need to cut off the leg using a Dremel or hacksaw. 5. SCTouch is designed to drop into any inductive/capacitance probe mount, making it incredibly versatile! Note: Due to limited ROI, I didn't implement a solenoid to retract/deploy the probe. However, probing is done very infrequently (maximum once per print), so manual deployment isn't a significant concern. You can obtain time square magnets from an old CD or DVD drive, which is a great resource for this project. Probing is a rare occurrence, taking place no more than once per print, making it manageable to deploy the probe by hand.
