Scruffy is the undead janitor at Planet Express, a man whose dedication to his job is unmatched by anyone else on staff. His coworkers, a diverse group of characters, barely notice him most days, often failing to recognize him even when their paths cross. Scruffy, on the other hand, has invested heavily in his company's success, buying 30,000 more shares than any other employee.
