Scroll Saw Insert

Parametric Scroll Saw Table Insert This was originally designed specifically for a Delta 40-540 Scroll Saw, but can be easily adapted to suit others with slight modifications. The current specifications fit the saw snugly and after a light sanding on the top surface using 220-grit paper, it provides a smooth cutting surface. Two versions of this design can be printed: one for minimal clearance around the blade and another for a full 45-degree tilt. Ensure that you adjust your printing software to print this flat at a 45-degree angle. You may enter the thickness and width of your preferred blade style and size to accommodate different types and sizes. For more detailed information on editing the original, please check the comments in the OpenSCAD file. Print Settings Rafts: No Resolution: .2 mm Infill: 15% Notes: PLA or ABS can be used for printing this design. Post-Printing Instructions Lightly sand the top surface of the table using 220-grit sandpaper to meet the edge of the saw. If you need even less friction, consider covering it with paste-wax as well.
