A scriber with 6 components includes a storage feature for needles and pins. Notably, the M4 x 0.7 metric threads are based on theoretical values without clearance between bolt and nut. The handle sleeve uses heat-shrink tubing with a 0.5mm wall thickness. Various alternatives exist, such as replacing screw connections with compression connectors. Available data formats include STEP file (.stp) for the entire assembly, along with native files in .prt and .asm formats. The model can be accessed within a .zip folder for users of PTC Creo Parametric 2.0.
