ScribbleJ's HYPERVENTILATOR!
thingiverse
The secret to the perfect single-walled cube might just be a fan! Many Thingiversians have been attaching cooling nozzles to their print heads for this purpose. I decided to join them and designed my own fan mount with hose and nozzle. However, after conducting tests with different fans, I discovered that the traditional Ducted Cooling Fan didn't make a significant difference in the cube's quality. But when I tried using my Thing O Matic case fan, there was no noticeable improvement either. Frustrated, I realized it was the fan all along that was letting me down, not enhancing the print quality. It seemed that human power was the ultimate force needed in this situation. So, I used a hyperventilator during printing to achieve the perfect cube. The design for the hyperventilator is simple: flip the model upside-down before printing and attach two 7/16" outer diameter hoses. Slip the nozzle hook over an intense lighting system ring and exhale forcefully through the mouth while inhaling quickly through the nose. Repeat until the print is complete, beautiful, and perfect.
