Hey friends,\r\nI'm having trouble measuring the size of my small screws, specifically the ones I use with my Geetech I3 Pro B. So I decided to create a gadget that would help me out. There are two main components: one with markings and another with holes where the screws will be inserted. Once you slide the second part until the screw stops it, you can easily read the size underneath. The slider has three holes - 2.5mm, 3mm, and 4mm - plus a universal hole that allows you to measure screws from 4mm to 30mm in increments of 2mm. I also added 5mm and 25mm options. It's super easy to use. Unfortunately, I'm not sure how to post animated GIFs, so here's a link to see it in action: https://image.noelshack.com/fichiers/2017/44/5/1509730896-video.gifYou can print the digits cleanly by adding the M600 code to your G-code before printing. As for me, I just used a marker to paint the numbers. As I tend to misplace the slider, I added a hole for a screw (M3 10 or 12mm) and a notch on the slider so you can hang a rubber band with a washer to keep it secure - no more lost sliders! I'm really happy with how it turned out.I realized that left-handed users might need an adjustment. I created a reversed version using the "screwmeter v2 left-h.stl" file, but since I'm right-handed, I haven't printed it yet. If you notice anything off, please let me know.I recommend applying some soap to the slider before using it.It's great when people like and comment on my creations - it doesn't cost much, and it's always nice to hear from you.
