It's wacky, it's wide, it's walking, and most importantly it's screwless! This is version 2 of the rollingstep walker (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3694540), now with commonly available dc gear motor to minimize number of parts. Everything is snap on, reducing assembly time. The lower frame is designed to hold a battery holder for 2x 18650 lithium batteries. Video: https://youtu.be/YYMLW-2Xq48 Parts to print: foot x8 spacer x4 crank1, crank2, crank3 x4, solid infill mcrank, triangle, motorclamp x2 innerframe, outerframe x2 topframe, bottomframe x1 Optional: arduinoholder x2 (I did not print it because no plan for using arduino for now) Known issues: The stub axles (2 cylindrical protrusions in innerframe and outerframe) are prone to breaking when walking in a curve or turning around. I glued them back with epoxy. This could be because I'm not careful to examine how those axles are supported with so sparse infill (15%) while slicing. Make sure they get strong enough connection with the structure. After I learn from this, the second print did not break. The top frame interlock is not tight enough to hold everything together, maybe a bit of glue is needed. The hexagonal pins in the cranks need to be sanded a little and the hole worked a bit with a knife to make them fit. Maybe it is because first layer enlargement of my printer.
