Screwless Lasercut Reuleaux Triangle
thingiverse
This revised Reuleaux Triangle model showcases snap fitting pieces instead of screws for assembling its three layers, making it entirely laser-cut friendly. Inspired by "Screwless Cube Gears" by Emmett (http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:10483), the design eliminates the need for screws. To create this unique piece, cut the 'releaux_triangle_snap_export_final.dxf' file, which also includes helpful lines for potential modifications. The model consists of three layers: the middle one featuring a Reuleaux triangle is crafted from 2mm Delrin for enhanced feel, while acrylic could work too, except for small snap pieces that may break during cutting. The top and bottom layers are identical, typically cut from 2mm transparent acrylic, and simply snap together, offering an enjoyable rotating experience within a square frame.
