Screwless key holder

Screwless key holder

thingiverse

This is based on the Screwless key holder by Marrrs. I created it in Tinkercad to meet North American key requirements. The original design was too long, so I made a shorter version. I didn't like how the zip tie head wouldn't sit flush with the inside and a space was needed. With short zip ties, an extra spacer was required. Now I can place the key ring spacer anywhere in the stack. Also allowed for spacers to have smaller holes or rectangular holes so they don't spin and move around. The zip ties are fed through backwards with this design and protrude slightly on the outer surface. Modifications: Modified the shape into an asymmetric shape to easily identify which way to flip open the key by feel. Shortened the over length to 82.5mm because this was rebuilt from scratch, I can alter the lengths. Changed the way zip ties are installed so that they sit flush with the inside surface. Zip ties are installed in reverse to the original version, and the ends are tightened through the surface rather than the ends. Reduced or changed the hole shape/size to reduce play for key ring attachment, and spacing washers do not spin. Notes: Zip ties all have different dimensions. The ones I'm using are from a dollar store, with the head measuring 4 mm x 5.5 mm x 5.8 mm and the tail measuring 1 mm x 2.9 mm x 150mm. Two versions are included: one ziptie and two zipties.
