Introducing the requested 100% printable heart gears, free from unsightly bolt holes! Designed with similar principles as the screwless cube gears (http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:10483), it even utilizes the same center block - just with slightly shorter pins. If you don't have a 3D printer, consider purchasing these from CarryTheWhat on Etsy (http://www.etsy.com/shop/CarryTheWhat). The dimensions have been increased to accommodate printed pins, resulting in a 100mm diameter when assembled. Feel free to scale this design up or down as desired. Printing took approximately 6 hours using my TOM printer. For printing instructions, refer to the provided parts list. Separate files are available for gears 1, 3, 5, and 7 in case there's an issue with the four-gear plate or if you want specific colors. Print four pin pairs using multiply feature. Insert short pins into small faces of center block, and long pins into large faces. Slide each gear onto its corresponding pin, starting from the top for easy alignment. If your heart assembly is too tight or loose, simply create new pins with adjusted parameters from the scad file or stretch the existing pin file in various axes. This ensures flawless big prints even with printer calibration issues.
