Screwless Dual 2.5" SATA SSD Holder for 3.5" SATA Bays v1
thingiverse
**DESCRIPTION:** Fit 2 SATA SSDs in this easy-to-use adapter for a 3.5" SATA drive bay. It does not require any screws to mount. If you only have 1 SATA SSD, use the SSD placeholder to help hold your single drive. This design also reduces the risk of the SSDs from escaping the drive bays in the case of your computer being misoriented during transportation. **INSTALLATION:** 1. Print the models and clean their supports off 2. Slide your drives (or placeholder) in one of the slots with the data pins' key pointing towards the center. Both drives should sit relatively tight in the enclosure but apply electrical tape to their edges if they do not. 3. Connect your drives to your computer 4. Slide in the back piece to hold the drives in 5. Slide the enclosure into the 3.5" SATA Drive Bay **FILES:** ssdholder.stl - The dual SSD holding enclosure. ssdholderlock.stl - The back piece that holds the SSDs in place ssdholderplaceholder.stl - A placeholder SSD that is required if you intend to mount only one SSD. **IMPORTANT:** *v1 of this model does NOT have any spaces for drive sled attachment points or screws.*
