Screwless Dodecahedron Gears
thingiverse
The original model was Eccentric Sphere Gears (http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:6499). I revised the SCAD files to employ pins instead of screws for attaching gears onto the central part, and substituted a dodecahedron for the sphere. This version doesn't exhibit eccentricity, ensuring smooth gear rotation without significant shape alteration. The model prints in three parts, and each component is separately attachable (albeit with varying scales). For a visual of how pieces fit together, use the not_printable.stl ddhedron file; post-print assembly can be somewhat confusing.
