Screwdriver Handle
thingiverse
I was really frustrated with the puny handles on some of these low-cost screwdrivers, so I decided to create new ones that are actually usable. This is intended to be modified by you in Fusion 360 (it's free) to fit your specific needs. However, I've included files for 2, 3, 4, and 5 mm shafts, which should cover most common applications. To access the Fusion file, simply click on this link: https://a360.co/3cDZXVi I added a modifier block in PrusaSlicer to increase the shell thickness significantly near where the shaft is inserted. I strongly recommend that you either add this modifier or print everything with high shell thickness to ensure a strong and durable connection. To assemble these new handles, simply heat the end of the shaft with a lighter for several seconds and then quickly press it into place. My first attempts didn't result in perfectly straight handles, but they are firmly attached and work great despite some imperfections. Keep in mind that you may need to experiment with slightly undersized or oversized shaft holes depending on your printer's capabilities.
With this file you will be able to print Screwdriver Handle with your 3D printer. Click on the button and save the file on your computer to work, edit or customize your design. You can also find more 3D designs for printers on Screwdriver Handle.
