Screwdriver for 1/4" bit-holder
thingiverse
A tool for gripping 1/4" bits securely, featuring a spring-loaded mechanism that prevents it from falling out of place. Its design accommodates longer bits only, which will fit snugly into its hexagonal hole with a diameter of 1/4" plus an additional 200 micrometers. I failed to find such a straightforward product in my local hardware store, where instead, expensive sets of screwdrivers and numerous bits were available. It seems the industry has changed dramatically. Print Settings: Rafts: None Supports: None Notes: For optimal results, print with a large brim (10mm) and have the hexagonal hole facing upwards. Avoid using supports altogether. You may wish to increase the infill percentage for enhanced break resistance. In my experience, black PLA exhibits superior strength compared to grey PLA. Post-Printing: It's possible that you'll need to insert and remove the bit holder several times to smooth out its inner surfaces, making it easier to remove in the future.
