Screwdriver Bit Clip for DeWalt Drill
thingiverse
The DeWalt Li-Ion cordless drill (model DCD710) has become my preferred choice due to its compact size, ergonomic design, and surprising power. However, it lacks a screwdriver bit clip. To resolve this issue, a 3D printable part is available with STL, Solidworks, OpenSCAD, and Step files included for easy access. This attachment provides a screwdriver bit holder on the side of the drill, enhancing its functionality. The part can be printed using a MakerBot Replicator 2 with PLA filament, following specific instructions to ensure proper printing orientation and infill settings. Attaching the clip requires 13 small drops of superglue and approximately 30 minutes of drying time, following the labeled drill mounting location for optimal results.
