About the Design For me, the main purpose of desktop 3D printing extends far beyond a simple hobby or creating figurines. Desktop 3D printing empowers you to quickly solve everyday issues by simply sitting down at your computer, creating a design, and printing your solution. At its core, this is what has been called "the next industrial revolution." I created two designs that I believe truly represent the statement above. During your daily activities in your house, shop, or workshop, you will often encounter screws that are extremely inaccessible to remove or install. These two designs offer a solution to those hard-to-reach screws: a 1.8-inch offset screwdriver adapter and a 90-degree angle screwdriver adapter. Both designs were conceived to be incredibly easy to print with no hardware required for assembly. (Both designs feature a 1/8-inch screw accommodation, but it is not strictly necessary; the snap fit of the housing works exceptionally well.) Mechanically, the parts were carefully designed to provide a snug fit yet sufficient clearance to allow the moving parts to function as intended. The attached PDF file provides a closer look at the design and recommended printing settings. Regarding assembly, it's incredibly straightforward - simply watch the GIF videos attached. Feel free to modify the design as needed; both designs include a 1/4-inch square socket for input and a 1/4-inch hex socket for output, which are standards in nearly all screwdriver tip sets. Additionally, for the offset adapter, you can easily increase the length by adding more middle gears.
