ScrewBox
thingiverse
These are alternate versions of a four-arm screw-box. I was inspired by this design to create my own version, tailored to meet specific requirements.http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:582221 The main objective was to design it as a holder for an alto saxophone mouthpiece I had printed earlier (several designs can be found on Thingiverse), however, it could potentially contain any type of item. Update: The first version (1.1) proved quite tricky when attempting to disassemble both parts so I've expanded the base area for ease of assembly. It's recommended that you print the box as a separate unit B and C for improved alignment. Update 2: A revised version of Box C with added support has been created, resolving printing issues due to excessive vibration during the process. The piece can be easily removed from its support once printed and a light smooth operation on the surfaces should do. It's advisable to use version "Box B1.2" alongside "Box C 1.3 with support" for better results.
