Screwable Tolerance Test

Screwable Tolerance Test

thingiverse

This is a basic tolerance test: simply assemble both pieces together, count the remaining threads, and calculate the printer's tolerance by multiplying (number_of_threads_left + 1) by the Tolerance Step (defaulting to 0.2mm). Properties: The threads are simple circles extruded along a spiral path. The model contains five screw threads, with the bottom one starting at a diameter of (10mm + ToleranceStep), then incrementing in steps of (10mm + ToleranceStep*2) up to (10mm + ToleranceStep*5). The model is fully parametric and can be easily modified using FreeCAD by adjusting the Tolerance Step in the spreadsheet.
