Screw Top Corinthian Column
thingiverse
This is a revamped Roman Corinthian Column I reworked from Winslow's original design, condensed and reinforced for use as a storage container. The modifications solely impacted the Pillar, with its height and thickness altered to withstand twisting forces without compromising structural integrity. The base and top remain proportionate, adhering to traditional design principles. My initial iteration encountered issues due to insufficient wall thickness at the top, which led to the screwcap breaking off under excessive torque. This revised version addresses these concerns and prints flawlessly at 140mm tall, the maximum height my printer can accommodate. Although it falls short of holding writing utensils due to the combined dimensions of the base and screw-cap, it still offers a discreet storage space for confidential correspondence.
