Screw sizer with ruler

Screw sizer with ruler

thingiverse

This updated design pairs an imperial screw diameter gauge with a ruler, allowing you to organize most of your loose imperial screws without needing a second tool. Initially, I overlooked the idea of incorporating a ruler component, but it eventually came to me later on. Using this tool is straightforward - simply slide the screw's shaft through the gap; if it doesn't move smoothly or fit neatly into the circular hole, then the screw belongs in the next larger size. You can now also measure the length of each screw by placing it in the slot below the inch ruler. The initial STL file includes one ruler slot for measuring length, while the v2 STL file features two slots to make it easier to measure both flat-shouldered screws and countersunk screws. For optimal precision, print at 0.1 resolution.
