Screw Mounting Plates for Shelf Brackets
thingiverse
These are screw mounting plates designed to match all of my remixed shelf bracket designs which can be found at https://tinyurl.com/yyw6rc6h. While the mounting tape I suggest is incredibly strong, some people might prefer using screws and anchors to secure the brackets to a wall. These plates use three flat head screws to mount securely to a wall, after which you can attach the actual bracket to the plate using mounting tape or your preferred adhesive. My shelf bracket designs come in three configurations, so be sure to choose the appropriate mounting plate for your specific design. Small width brackets (approximately 28mm wide) require the MOUNTING-PLATE-SMALL.stl file or *WITH-LIP version. Large width brackets (single file or left/right files) need either the MOUNTING-PLATE-LARGE.stl file or *WITH-LIP variation. There are two versions of each plate: one with and one without a bottom lip. Just remember that if you resize the brackets in your slicing software, you must also adjust the mounting plate by the same percentage to ensure proper fitment. Since these plates will support weight, it's essential to print them with at least 30% infill. The more infill, the stronger the plate will be. Disclaimer: Although I have tested the brackets and mounting tape for my personal use, I am not liable for any damage or injuries that may result from your usage of these products.
