Patching Small Holes in Polished Metal Beams with Spackle May Not be the Solution. When faced with a multitude of small holes in polished metal beams, spackle may not always provide a viable solution. In such cases, specialized tools can prove to be more effective. In my particular application, I had encountered 16 small holes created by screws that were previously inserted into the polished metal beams. To address this issue, I opted for utilizing plug-ins designed specifically for plugging 1/8th inch holes. These worked remarkably well and blended seamlessly with the surrounding area once painted to match the original finish of the metal beams.
