Screw Clamp for Modular Mounting System
thingiverse
I was frustrated with the reliability of using rubberbands with the Modular Mounting System's phone clamp, so I set out to create something more dependable for my needs. Initially, I designed this to hold a webcam to my Taz 6, but I realized its usefulness extended beyond that purpose and decided to share it. I've had great success with the Modular Mounting System by Ryan Huang and was inspired by the OpenOcular project to develop a screw clamp that can secure various objects in place. While they may not be as slender as a phone, this design is perfect for holding thicker items steady. Although I've listed OpenOcular as a remix source, my creation isn't compatible with their project, but it was certainly an inspiration. If you're looking for a reliable mounting solution, I highly recommend checking out the Modular Mounting System and the OpenOcular project - they're both excellent options.
