Screw & bearingless adjustable spoolholder
thingiverse
I came across numerous spool holders, but none of them met my exact design requirements since they all relied on genuine bearings. Since I had some spare Teflon tubing on hand, I devised a wheel that utilizes a Teflon tube bearing instead. To secure it if desired, I added screw holes to the base. The 2-color base in the image is due to combining leftover filaments using fusing. Assembly: 1. Insert the slider into the base 2. Assemble the wheels 3. Cut two 97mm Teflon tubes. 4. With the slider on the same side as the base wheels, assemble the Teflon tube and bend-squeeze it onto the other side to create a Teflon "rod". Adjust the slider to the required size and begin printing.
