Screw Adjustable Phone Stand (reinforced)I really like the original 'Screw Screw Adjustable Phone Stand', but it has several problems which causes it to break. I made reinforced versions of several parts. You still need the original model, but replace 3 parts from this model:ScrewThe original screw has a point at the beginning of the thread that will jam in the connector and create a force that breaks it. I added a ring to the screw to fix this issue.NutThe original nut has very small bottom surface area, which makes it less stable. I extended the surface area and the phone holder can hold much heavier phones now.BracketMy base was actually damaged by the problem with the screw, so I made a reinforcement bracket, which I screwed and glued to the base.I also glued the holder to heavier base as large phone could trip the balance of the holder. Now, holder it much more stable.
