Screen printing emulsion tray end *UPDATED*
cults3d
Updated with better tip for less sanding Tired of your tray ends creeping of? leaving a gap leaving a thick bead of emultion behind? or falling off compleatly unless you glue/tape them on? NOT ANYMORE! "Zero gap" Emulsion screen coating tray end caps, To fit SERICOL coating trays. re designed edge so even iff it did(which it wont) creep off by up to 3mm it still would not leave a gap between tray blade and end cap edge. results in no thick edge when coating screens. Drew up in shapr3d on iPad Pro. I designed this as the Sericol caps dont seem to fit well nowadays they leave a thick edge of emultion on the edges and eventially slide off unless I glue them on which make daily cleaning of the tray harder. Theese snap on and stay there flush with the Aluminium tray edge for superior coating of screens. I use VERY large screens about 3.5 meters long so I hand coat them in 3 sections with overlaps so the edges are important. saves me going up a fourth time to scrape off the thick edge lines. Been coating theese screens for 20 years. I recommend PETG but Pla would be fine as I have designed the peice to be thick and strong whilst having a zero gap edge. Slightly over sized edge to sand down as per usual for tray ends as Each tray maybe be different Happy Screen Printing!
