Screen mount (jointed, pivoting) for Ender 3 V2
thingiverse
I've placed my printer on top of a closet, and wanted to be able to see the screen from below. This solution utilizes the original mounting bracket and t-nuts. The screen can still be oriented upwards (in the original position) if you'd like. I've added a pattern on the contacting surfaces to get some resistance and prevent unwanted rotation. Turning is still smooth but “clicks” into the pattern. This works well when I use a spring washer. The tension is easily adjusted with the wing nuts. Axis holes are adapted for M6 bolts, which is a bit more than needed but this was what I had laying around. Worth noting: You need to loosen the cover to the motherboard and rout the display wire to the front to get some extra reach. It's not pretty, but it works. Hardware needed: 3x M4x20(or longer) 3x M4 nuts 2x M6x30 2x M6 wing nuts 2x M6 washer 2x M6 spring washer Original hardware with t-nuts
