Screamer - Snap Fit, No Glue Required
thingiverse
I caught a glimpse of AndyGadget's The Orange Screamer - A wide-area annoyance device, but was put off by how it required being glued together. So, I grabbed his SketchUp files and tweaked them so the parts would snap together instead. This was a good move since you can take apart the device and give it another sanding or adjustment until you get just the right sound. To build your own Orange Screamer, follow these simple steps: Step 1: Get the download going, either individual or grab the whole shebang. Step 2: Slice up those files with a 20% infill - add some brim if the parts won't stick like they should. Step 3: Print out your new toy! Step 4: Take care of any rough edges on that rotor by hand with a drill. Step 5: Sand down Lid and Body to make them nice and smooth if need be. Step 6: Get that rotor spinning - put it on the spindle. Step 7: Slather some light oil on that spindle/rotor for better performance. Step 8: Snap on the Lid. Step 9: Now, take a deep breath and blow into that rectangular opening like your life depends on it. Step 10: Proceed to annoy everyone in your vicinity until you've had enough. Have fun!
