Wanted something more intimidating, so made significant changes to Baby Jack. Also, created a custom support that prints 30% faster and uses about 20% less material than generated supports. Seven with .4mm clearance; they seem to grip quite firmly. A forceps works perfectly for digging the support out. Here's a video of a repair of an earlier support test. It also showcases a unique ABS bubbling texture effect. https://youtu.be/E-5-ciPqluA Print Settings Printer: Tronxy X3 Rafts: No Supports: Doesn't Matter Resolution: 0.24mm Infill: 10% Notes: Custom support is 0.4mm below top. Works fairly well and just back on time and material, but you do need to break it out. Post-Printing Colored the stem with a green Sharpie. Painted the surface with acetone. Use a heat gun before it dries and the surface will bubble--see video above. How I Designed This Onshape. Keeps me in top shape.
