Scraper Sharpening Jigs
thingiverse
These jigs are for helping to joint and sharpen the edge of your cabinet scraper prior to burnishing the hooks onto it. The first is a holder/fence to keep your file 90° to the scraper. The second is a jig to hold your scraper 90° to your sharpening stone while you polish the edge. Additional hardware required: 1/4 Dia. x 1/4" long neodymium magnets for the honing jig (optional). 1/4-20 x 0.3" long flanged heatserts for the file fence. 1/4-20 set screws to hold your file. I use nylon because I have them from my table saw zero clearance insert, but brass might be a better option.
