Scraper/Scoop

Scraper/Scoop

Cleaning up a massive mess in my laundry closet was inevitable when two enormous containers of Tide detergent burst open at their bases and spilled all over my shelves. Living in Florida has its drawbacks, particularly the lack of ice scrapers or scoops I typically rely on, so I created this makeshift tool instead. Its design turned out perfectly and fits comfortably in the palm of my hand. Additionally, it can serve as a versatile tool for scraping a cutting board clean, collecting small dust particles from dusty areas, or gently removing a project from a build plate. The span across the front of its blade measures 100mm precisely. The key to creating this custom design was setting up the printer correctly - I chose 2 shells with a .2 mm resolution and 20% fill using PLA filament. Although alternative settings might also produce great results, I utilized the tools available through 123Design to create this exact tool.
