
Scraper for Build Plate - Version 2

<p>Note added Oct. 5, 2021 : As some people have had problems printing this without infill, I have added files for 15% rectilinear infill.</p><p>This scraper can be safely used on the build plate with little danger of scratching or gouging the coating. This was inspired by a similar print by Tor G, but I decided to create a new 3D model. My design uses the same basic features as Tor G, but I widened and lengthened the handle. The internal structure is hollow, with three ribs to strengthen the blade (see the photos which show printing in progress). I rotated the print 45 degrees to get it to fit on the build plate.</p><p>I printed in PETG on a textured plate. It would probably work in PLA as well for many uses, as long as you keep it away from high temperatures.</p>
