I have to admit, I'd never heard of the SCP Foundation. But that's how they want it.... When I'm working every day I have YouTube open on my Mac and I watch/listen to videos while I'm doing whatever I'm doing. I kept seeing suggested videos concerning 'SCP-(random number)', and eventually I got curious as to what the hell they were talking about. So I decided to look into it, and I'm quite glad that I did. The SCP Foundation is a fictional (or is it...?) organisation tasked with containing and studying various supernatural/alien/weird objects, entities or phenomena. The whole thing is one massive creative writing effort, and there are some stunningly talented writers all contributing to the ever-growing body of work which comprises the SCP wiki. All entries are told in the style of a report into an individual case, identified with a unique number (such as SCP-2181 etc) and detail the physical manifestation, special containment procedures, experimental results and so forth. I very much recommend looking into it if you're into sci-fi, horror, mystery or creative writing in general, it's amazing stuff.
