I've printed all the components and everything looks great so far. However, I haven't set it up to play yet. Besides 3D printing, playing bagpipes is one of my favorite hobbies. I'm not sure if these will work, but I thought it would be fun to give it a try. The chanter stock was designed specifically for use with my Lindsey Practice Chanter; you may need to make some adjustments to fit your own chanter. I also tried to design this project to minimize support as much as possible. I print without supports and clean up any bad extrusion. To provide extra support, I set a large brim around the tall parts of the components. For my prints, I usually set up three perimeters. All individual parts and several groups of components have been included in this download. To create a full set, you will need to print: Bass Drone Baritone Drone Tenor Drone Alto Drone Chanter Stocks - This gives both split stock and solid stock options Blow Pipe Full Common Stock Ferrules Mounts To make a complete working bagpipe set, you'll also need the following components: Blowpipe valve - I plan to use this one: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2755916 Chanter - I'll be using my practice chanter Drone reeds Pipebag I hope you enjoy this model! Let me know if you find any issues with the components. Update 9/26/2018 - I discovered that the Long Tuning Pin length was incorrect. I've updated the files containing this part, and they now have V1_1 in their file name.
