I purchased a Scott Spark RC 900 model in 2020, featuring the highly acclaimed vertical rear suspension system that I adore. Unfortunately, this design leaves no space for a conventional toolbox or bottle cage attachment. In an effort to address this issue, I posed the question: "What if you could create a secure toolbox that integrates seamlessly with the bike's existing bolt, eliminating the need for a separate tool compartment?" After more than a month of trial and error, I successfully designed a custom toolbox that meets these exact requirements. I must admit, it's surprising that Syncros hasn't developed a similar product. Specialized has already introduced their SWAT system, which demonstrates that this concept is not only feasible but also highly desirable among mountain bikers. I've been asked numerous times if I sell my homemade toolbox design, with many Scott Spark owners expressing interest in acquiring one. **What does the toolbox contain?** - A Tubolito MTB 29" tube - A 20/25g CO2 cartridge - A CO2 cartridge head - A Topeak Mini 20 Pro - An assortment of zip ties, carefully organized and packed - A ParkTool TL-1.2 tire lever - Additional space for a key **Important note:** The current design is specifically tailored to fit an "SYNCROS TAILOR CAGE 1.0 RIGHT" bottle cage, which I own. While I cannot guarantee compatibility with other brands, I can create a universal version upon request. **Note 1:** Due to the significant time and effort invested in this project, I typically share my designs in f3d format. However, this particular design has undergone extensive refinement, resulting in over 15 iterations and requiring me to master printing with PETG, as PLA proved insufficient for its intended purpose. **Note 2:** Although my custom toolbox is not waterproof, it does offer some level of splash protection. In contrast, the SWAT system from Specialized is also prone to water ingress.
