Conception to finished model in 40 minutes using 3DF Zephyr. And that's really saying something - I was at the store when the idea hit me. This is the result of a friend telling me that facial models are simply too difficult to be economically viable. His thinking (which was mine up until this) was that you'd have to bring a camera to the person, or the other way around, capture the imagery, go back to the office, and produce the model. I think I was standing next to the lettuce when I cursed and grumbled my way through check-out. When I got home, I held my phone in front of me at arm's length and recorded a 5-7 second video as I passed the camera from right to left (maintaining arm's length). Then, I uploaded the video to Google Photos and downloaded it to my PC from Google Photos (the miracles of modern technology), then ingested the video to Zephyr. On its first try, it nailed the model. What you see above is exactly what it kicked-out, minus the parts that aren't my face.
