Scotland: Arbroath, Mortuary Chapel
sketchfab
VR-ready Model type: urban; small scale, high detail. The model was developed from a vast collection of over 5,000 photographs. Multiple Sparse models were created and then combined into the primary file. Initially, I started with an "Orbit-far" (~500 inputs), followed by generating and merging one "Orbit-near" for each side (i.e., North, East, etc.), with approximately 750 inputs per side. Next, Sparse models were established for individual features, with a separate photo set assigned to each (e.g., "doorway," "alcove south," "niche south-east," etc.). These Sparse models were then merged into the main file. After that, the Dense and Textured models proceeded smoothly. Derived schematics (high detail): Inputs: Flickr Location: OpenStreetMap; Google 3D model generated in 3DF Zephyr v4.507 from 4808 images
