ScotchBrite Lint Roller Retaining Ring/Circlip
thingiverse
I bought ScotchBrite brand lint rollers from Costco, but some were defective with undersized retaining bulges on the end, causing the adhesive rolls to fall off when spun quickly. To solve this problem, I created a simple circlip that clips onto the end of the dowel rod, keeping the adhesive roll in place while still allowing it to spin freely. The inner and outer diameters of the circlip need to be tweaked to match your 3D printer's behavior and the feature sizes on the lint roller you're using, but most rolls won't require this fix.
