These 3D parts are used to build a Scotch Yoke linear driven Magnetic Repulsion Piston that can be employed to generate electricity. The brass tube is 1/2 inch in diameter and can accommodate 1/2 inch diameter N50 grade neodymium magnets, which it holds securely within its 3.2 inches of length. The slot in the Scotch Yoke was specifically designed to accept a 1/4 inch diameter pin, providing a precise fit for smooth operation. The Linear Piston Drive Wheel was engineered to provide 2 inches of linear travel when connected to the Scotch Yoke, allowing for efficient and controlled movement. Both the central drive shaft and scotch yoke pin have a 1/4 inch diameter shaft, ensuring compatibility and smooth interaction between components. These 3D parts were designed using the freeware version of the EMachineShop software package.
