Designed specifically for use with the magnetic MagicMount by Scosche, this product was created in response to the adhesive that came with the original mount eventually failing to hold. The Scosche mount is compatible with air vent installations, but it often obstructed the phone screen when mounted on the vent, forcing me to either move my hand or lean over just to view navigation information on my screen. This necessitated a more effective solution for mounting my phone, and I found that this product fits perfectly atop the trim surrounding the infotainment area.
