Scorpion Rope Spear / Kunai

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=c7WIa5SmK4Q&feature=youtu.be Scorpion's rope spear from Mortal Kombat. The first one. The old school one. The original one. Sized to proportions taken from screen grabs of the original game. This model has a threaded rope hidden inside the handle, attached to the pommel, which can be extended or retracted. The rope has a stopper so that the rope won't be able to unscrew itself from the handle. I printed it on its pommel, using the Handle_Rope_Pommel+Support+Stabilizers.stl and the Blade.stl files, and gluing them together. This file has a pre-made cone shape that acts as a stabilizer to prevent the handle from rocking during printing. Also, there are 1 line threads connected to the rope inside the handle. These help keep the rope from rocking during printing, and are weak enough to break away after printing. It may take a few times extending/retracting before all these threads are worn out. I also included the full model file and the handle with rope and pommel file without supports or stabilizers. Designed with simple tools in MeshMixer, the model will need to be sanded to remove the polygonal edges. Although the model has enough clearance in the threads, a build up of paint and protecting clear acrylic will consume some of that space. I added lubrication on the rope in order to aid the extending/retracting function. You may have better luck printing it in brown PLA and only painting the handle, pommel, and blade.
