Scoring Tool for craft cutting machine
thingiverse
I created this design to use with my Cricut Maker, but it should also work on some of their other models. I printed this object on its side with supports enabled, which resulted in a bit of clean up when finished. However, I thought the tip would be stronger with the layer lines oriented that way. I anticipate that it won't last as long as the official metal-tipped scoring stylus, but I haven't conducted enough testing to know how many times it can be used before needing replacement. Exercise caution and use this at your own risk. It is not an official design from the company. I experienced some trouble getting it out of the holder initially, so you may want to scrape or sand the ring near the tip that locks it into the holder. This design was created by taking measurements from the fine-tipped pen that came with my machine as I don't have a Cricut scoring stylus. I assumed the tip of the scoring stylus would be located where the pen tip is, so that's where I placed it.
