Cut a clear plastic sheet to the exact dimensions of your reference object. Secure it firmly onto your scope using a sturdy adhesive or clips, making sure it's perfectly aligned. Next, position your GoPro Hero 5 on top of the plastic sheet, ensuring it's centered and stable. As light reflects off the plastic, your GoPro will capture an uncensored view of what you're looking at through the scope. This particular design is tailored specifically for use with the GoPro Hero 5 model, but feel free to make adjustments as needed to accommodate other camera models.
