I took possession of the rail and decided to attach some rings. Two sets are available - one with two machine screws in ~25mm sizes and another with three machine screws in ~35mm sizes. I put them through their paces on my Hatsan 125 air rifle and they held strong. Next, I'll be checking to see how well these rings will hold a zero setting yet. My first attempt was a little off-center due to the scope's positioning during assembly, which is why I made a second set of longer rings. Update: A new file has been added for my "zip grip" variant, which utilizes zip ties instead of metal screws to attach the ring base to one of my rails that includes slots for zip ties. I've included a picture in the new file. My firing tests showed that the rings held up but not the rails, particularly when made from PLA. It would be wise to avoid ABS at this point as well. I'll soon begin experimenting with PET+, which I hope will enable these parts to function as intended. If PET+ proves unsuitable, they can still be used for customizing nerf guns and super soakers. Instructions: To print the rings and cleats accurately, place them laying cross-wise. For securing the top of the ring base, I employed six 6-32 machine screws. As for the square rod with the threaded end, I'm still uncertain about its purpose; if anyone knows, please enlighten me. It was salvaged from an old red dot scope I had at hand, but a long thin machine screw and wing nut combination could accomplish the same task.
