Scope Ring Mount

Scope Ring Mount

I designed a 1" scope ring that fits both 3/8 dovetail and 10mm mounts. It has to mount securely for both sizes. After printing it out, everything lines up perfectly with minimal trimming needed to get the corners true. I printed it at .15 layer thickness with 80% infill for added strength. A 5mm brim was also included. The material used is PLA, and I printed it at 200°C. To achieve crisp corners, make sure to print the clamp facing upwards on its side. My printer settings worked well for this design. Good luck with your prints! Feel free to redesign as you see fit. Print Settings Printer: Micromake D1 ValueHobby special! Rafts: None Supports: None Resolution: .10-.20 Infill: 80% for maximum stability Notes: I'm aiming for 80% infill because this ring will be mounted on my .22lr rifle, and I want it to be as stable as possible. The ring is slightly larger than 1" to accommodate filler material so that the scope doesn't get scratched. Post-Printing Just clean up the holes! This design features a 3mm/5.5mm hexnut on both the top and base. Three millimeter hexnuts are used for the clamp holes on the base, which will need to be tapped.
