Scope Cam Adapter
thingiverse
I uploaded a Scope cam adapter a month ago, but unfortunately, it had some design flaws. This adapter consists of two parts: the scope cam mount, which attaches to the camera, and the scope cam adapter, which slides onto the scope. I used an action camera capable of recording in 720p at 120fps with 4x digital zoom. However, this setup wasn't enough, so I had to add a M12 focusable lens designed for CCTV cameras. To do this, I removed the old lens and replaced it with a new one after cutting out a section roughly 5-6mm in size. Assembling the lens proved challenging due to the stuck focus wheel. Despite this issue, the scope cam adapter can still be used separately from the camera mount. Just keep in mind that using the adapter on a center-fire rifle without proper caution may result in a black eye. The printed scope cam mount is universal as long as you maintain consistent dimensions between the adapter and the mount. I opted for 30% infill with honeycomb infill when printing the adapter, which turned out to be a good choice. However, the inside of the adapter might require some sanding to ensure smooth operation.
