Scooter improvement
thingiverse
This is a major upgrade on my son's scooter. Check out the pic! Before, it was just the green wheels, but now they have some give and are extremely quiet. A crucial addition is that the wheels are printed with Blue TPU filament! The grips are made of red PLA. I extended them, and had to trim off some plastic from the handles on the scooter. My son loves it now! I'll be uploading some bobby car tires soon! The wheels were printed using hexagonal infill at 7% density, with 3 bottom layers, 6 top layers, and 2 shells. I used a heavily modified Anet A8 printer to get the job done. Print Settings: Printer: Anet A8 Rafts: No Supports: No Resolution: .2mm Infill: 7% hexagonal Notes: I attached them to the hard plastic using Pattex.
